Welcome to Chess Valley RFC, Rickmansworth’s' local rugby Club. CVRFC was established in 1996 and  has quickly become a part of the local community, with members from age 6 through to Seniors. The club represents a social and sporting environment for all its members and our ethos is to have fun and enjoyment through the sport of Rugby.

After a successful campaign last summer, our  first XV Senior team is returning to the Hertfordshire/Middlesex League 4, and our 2’s side will be competing in the Hertfordshire Merit League 5 in 2009-10.  The teams which participate in the Merit Leagues, are normally the 2nd, 3rd and 4th XVs of clubs who wish to develop their players in a competitive structure. This is a great opportunity for new players to the game to play in a competitive league within a reasonable level.

Rickmansworth Sports Club provides wonderful playing grounds for members, a clubhouse with all the necessary facilities for the sport and a bar for refreshments. We are sure to have a successful and challenging season ahead, with social events throughout, that will mark another great year for Chess Valley RFC.
